Ferro Manganese
Ferro Manganese (FeMn) is an alloy with high percentage of manganese, which is made by heating a mixture of oxides, MnO2 and Fe2O3 with high carbon content in blast furnace or an electric arc furnace-type system.
It contains a high content of manganese and used in steel products wherein silicon content needs to be controlled at low levels. It is used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer for production of steel.
Key Features:
- Free from impurities
- Corrosion proof
- Fine anti-oxidant characteristics
- Low melting point
